The SOLAR RAPTOR® SunStrip III 35 Reptile black edition is perfect for all terrarium owners who want a powerful LED light with an additional UV-A component for their terrariums. Thanks to its natural light spectrum, the SOLAR RAPTOR® SunStrip III 35 Reptile offers modern terrarium lighting on a whole new level. The UV-A component ensures the well-being of the animals, and the exceptional color brilliance makes the terrarium animals shine in all their glory.

All LEDs of the terrarium light (white, red, green, blue) are dimmable, and each channel can be individually controlled using the separately available CON1 control unit.

Natural-looking sunrises and sunsets or moonlight can be activated directly at the touch of a button thanks to pre-installed scenarios, or customized to your liking. Completely custom color settings and scenes are also possible. Once saved, the programmed scenario can be enjoyed again and again at set times. Or you can always try out new ideas…

Unlike conventional fluorescent tubes, HQL, or HQI lamps, the SunStrip 35 Reptile generates no radiant heat and only minimal internal heat. This is not only energy-saving but also protects terrariums from overheating and doesn’t interfere with fine-tuning the terrarium climate—especially important with the increasingly high temperatures in summer.

Thanks to its extreme longevity with a nominal lifespan of 50,000 hours and virtually constant light output, there’s no need for regular bulb replacements.

Like its predecessors, the SOLAR RAPTOR® SunStrip III Reptile black edition is encased in a flat aluminum housing, but unlike the previous standard editions, the black edition is entirely finished in elegant black. And as with the previous edition, we always ensure that only environmentally friendly, mercury-free materials are used in its production.

The top of the LED light features the SunStrip’s signature, special aluminum profile. This profile dissipates heat and protects the LEDs from overheating. Furthermore, the profile also serves as an ingenious mounting rail for the “SunStrip Holders” (now also available in black).

The wide selection of 10 different holders allows for maximum flexibility in installation: from simply placing the SunStrip on the terrarium, to screwing it in place, suspending it from the ceiling, or integrating it into existing T8 or T5 fluorescent tube sockets—everything is possible with the “SunStrip Holders.”

In addition, multiple SunStrips can be connected lengthwise and thus operated with just one (appropriately sized) driver.

Each bundle includes one SunStrip with the appropriately sized driver already included.
