Natureholic Babyfeed is a high-quality, biologically valuable, micro-fine powdered food for shrimp, containing krill, kale, spirulina, moringa, salmon oil, and a special blend of readily bioavailable minerals, some of which are derived from organic sources. Its fine consistency ensures that the food disperses evenly throughout the aquarium, making it readily available even to the most territorial baby shrimp.
We consciously avoid using low-quality animal meal and fishmeal in our baby shrimp food. The necessary proteins come from invertebrates and microorganisms, as well as algae and plants. This means that our dwarf shrimp rearing food contains not only nutritionally beneficial chitin, which is especially important for young shrimp because they molt daily or even several times a day at the beginning and need chitin to build their shells, but also the molting and growth hormone ecdysone. Ecdysone added to the food can have a remarkably positive effect on the growth and molting of baby shrimp.
The yeasts we use are rich in bitter substances, nucleotides (the building blocks of nucleic acids) , and the phospholipid lecithin. Kale and spirulina, moringa and salmon oil provide a natural supply of vitamins, minerals, important unsaturated fatty acids, and phytochemicals.
For Natureholic Babyfeed, we use a special blend of trace elements and vitamins that – unlike competing products – contains bioavailable mineral compounds that are directly available to the organism as building blocks. To specifically prevent deficiencies, we have incorporated our vitamin mix: Vitamin D3 for the calcium metabolism of shrimp, providing important support during molting; Vitamin A for the development of the subcutaneous tissue and eggs, to support the immune system, and especially as an antioxidant to protect against reactive molecules and bacteria; and Vitamin C, which is also an important antioxidant and is additionally needed for smooth molting.
Our proven mineral mix contains iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), and manganese (Mn), which are trace elements essential for shrimp to produce a variety of important enzymes, thus ensuring smooth molting. These trace elements are also necessary for the formation of various hormones, such as the growth hormone ecdysone, and for protein production, thereby supporting normal shrimp growth.
We recommend using a special feeding pipette, which allows you to precisely place a mixture of baby feed and a little aquarium water into the moss where baby shrimp prefer to stay.
