The smooth surface makes dirt, e.g. from algae, easy to clean. Since they are made from a safe, inert material (polyresin), they do not affect the water and clarity. Their light weight prevents possible damage to the glass. The River Roots are very durable and look beautiful in any aquarium.
Hint: The small caves can also be used as hiding places in terraria.
