NatureHolic Cichfeed has a grain size of 1.5 mm, making it ideal even for larger fish. This food granulate was designed for predominantly carnivorous fish.
Even carnivores need a certain amount of plant matter in their diet – this corresponds to the intestinal contents of their prey, which mostly eat plant-based food. We took this into account when formulating NatureHolic Cichfeeds and added a small amount of algae and plant-based proteins. A high-dose vitamin mix helps prevent deficiencies. Cod liver oil was also added as a special supplement – for a strong immune system and vibrant colors.
NatureHolic Cichfeed is readily accepted by cichlids in aquariums. The nutrients are balanced and easily digestible , so the fish don’t excrete large amounts of nutrients in their feces. This prevents water clouding caused by excess nutrients in the aquarium water.
