NatureHolic AlgaeLeaves provide not only high-quality, easily digestible plant protein for normal growth in invertebrates and fish, but also other essential nutrients and building blocks: Snails and shrimp need calcium and magnesium as building blocks for their shells. Fish also depend on these nutrients to build their skeletons and grow healthily.
NatureHolic AlgaeLeaves, a delicious type of seaweed, also provides natural vitamins A, B, and C. Vitamins A and C are particularly important for invertebrates because they cannot produce them themselves. Furthermore, the relatively high content of natural iodine is also significant – this trace element plays a crucial role in the molting process of crustaceans and can even help prevent molting problems.
Nerite snails, horned nerite snails, ramshorn snails, apple snails, and Malaysian trumpet snails especially benefit from NatureHolic AlgaeLeaves, as it can significantly improve their health and thus their lifespan. We have tested this extensively in Germany’s largest snail farm. The algae for the AlgaeLeaves are harvested by hand and are of raw food quality. This is the only way to preserve the quality of all the nutrients! Naturally, the harvest takes place in pollutant-free waters.
Unlike many conventionally available seaweed sheets, our NatureHolic AlgaePlates are not steam-pressed from seaweed waste. Too many important nutrients are lost using this method!
