Land hermit crabs grow, but their shells don’t. Therefore, they regularly need larger shells to move into. If your pet can no longer close its shell with its large claw and one leg, and other legs are visible, then it’s time to get a bigger home. Suitable as a home for hermit crabs and shell-dwelling cichlids, or as aquarium decoration.
