With the chloride-reduced NatureHolic Neosalt Neocaridina, you remineralize osmosis water, water from a demineralizer or rainwater filtered with activated carbon and bring it to optimal water parameters for Neocaridina shrimp and other ornamental shrimp from medium-hard to hard water.
NatureHolic Neosalt Neocaridina is a fast-dissolving water remineralization salt, specially formulated for aquariums with Neocaridina shrimp and other shrimp that require moderately hard water with a certain carbonate hardness. Fish can also be kept in such an aquarium, provided the water parameters meet their needs. This remineralization salt is also ideal for your aquarium plants because, in addition to a balanced calcium-magnesium ratio, it also provides an optimal amount of the essential plant nutrient potassium. Furthermore, we have significantly reduced the potentially harmful chloride content in our formula – NatureHolic Neosalt Neocaridina remineralization salt contains up to 80% less chloride than comparable competitor products. The beneficial filter bacteria also profit from the minerals and trace elements in our mineral salt for Neocaridina aquariums.
Our Neocaridina salt enriches the aquarium water with all the essential minerals and trace elements for the shrimp, plants, and filter bacteria. The chloride-reduced NatureHolic Neosalt Neocaridina remineralizing salt raises both the general hardness (GH) and the carbonate hardness (KH) to the ideal ratio of 2:1 GH to KH for Neocaridina shrimp.
With NatureHolic Neosalt Neocaridina Mineral Mix, you create natural-looking water conditions in your Neocaridina aquarium and actively promote healthy plant growth and the well-being of your aquarium inhabitants. NatureHolic Neosalt Neocaridina provides an ideal ratio of calcium, magnesium, and potassium (2:1:0.5) for plant growth. The significantly reduced chloride content of this aquarium remineralizing salt also benefits your aquarium plants!
Instructions for use:
Stir the chloride-reduced remineralizing salt into the fresh water for water changes outside the aquarium, and add any undissolved particles back into the aquarium. Make sure to tightly close the container after each use.
| Suitable for: | for Neocaridina species and other shrimp from habitats with medium to hard water, such as Amano shrimp, rhinoceros shrimp, fan shrimp and others. |
| Ratio of GH to KH: | 2 to 1 |
| Calcium-magnesium-potassium ratio: | 2 : 1 : 0.5 |
| Dosage: | 10 g per 100 l increases the carbonate hardness by 1.5 °dKH, the total hardness by 3 °dGH and the conductivity by approximately 120 µS/cm. One level teaspoon corresponds to approximately 5 g. |
