Heat strips are typically mounted directly on the front air intake of a terrarium. Their moderate heat output increases the air temperature inside the enclosure and improves air circulation through the “chimney effect.”
This positively influences the terrarium’s climate by reducing both stagnant air and cold drafts.
Because the heat source is located on the front glass, condensation is effectively prevented.
The heat strips have a self-adhesive backing, allowing for easy, tool-free mounting on any smooth, dust- and grease-free surface.
A DRV driver is required for operation.
